Book NowAbout Quenino
Perched on Cuscaden Road, Quenino spins Southeast Asian street heritage into an inventive, playful degustation without the stuffy fine-dining attitude. The dining room drops your shoulders right away—lush greenery, warm lighting, and zero pretension. Behind the pass, Chef de Cuisine Sujatha Asokan draws on her Indian and Chinese heritage to turn nostalgic flavours on their head. Frequent diners point to the unexpected hits—warm flatbread wiped through spiced cod roe dip, tender abalone glazed with angelica herb, and wagyu beef served alongside house-made garlic chili sauces. The kitchen team regularly steps out into the dining room to present mains tableside and challenge guests to decode secret ingredients. To close, a scoop of creamy green chilli ice cream balances sweet and savory heat.
- Reimagined Regional Degustation: Chef de Cuisine Sujatha Asokan deconstructs local Singaporean and Southeast Asian culinary memories into inventive, multi-course tasting menus.
- Tableside Chef Engagement: Chefs step out from behind the pass to personally explain dishes, discuss regional heritage, and challenge diners to guess flavor profiles.
- Celebration-Ready Service: Front-of-house staff tailor the experience for date nights and celebrations, including aligned vegetarian pairings and mindful service details.

Standout culinary creations from our Southeast Asian degustation menu
Green Lip Abalone
My favourite was the green lip abalone starter, the herbal brown butter sauce was beautifully aromatic, with a lovely charred note and not overly sweet.
Affinity MM Stone Axe Wagyu
Star of the night was the Stone Axe Wagyu with variations of garlic, melted in your mouth.
Kevin Zolkiewicz House-made Flatbread
my favourites being the house-made flatbread with flower crab and peppercorn
Winston Lee Green Chilli Ice Cream
Finally, it was dessert time and we got our taste of the most unusual - Green Chilli Ice Cream 🍨 The ice cream was creamy (not spicy) & came with bakkwa bits, pineapple tart style paste rolled into tiny ball, almond flakes. A truly interesting ice cream flavor we must say 🌶️

Practical planning tips to ensure a seamless degustation experience
Pace Yourself on the House Flatbread
Pace yourself when the house-made flatbread and rich dips arrive during the tasting courses, as finishing the bread basket can leave you too full to appreciate the wagyu main and desserts.
Coordinate Dietary Accommodations Early
If you or a guest follow a vegetarian diet, notify the kitchen in advance; they prepare an aligned vegetarian tasting set that mirrors the standard multi-course progression so you can share the experience together.
Allow Ample Time for Interactive Courses
Table-side discussions and guessing games with the culinary team are an intentional part of the degustation; allocate around 1.5 to 2 hours to fully immerse yourself without feeling rushed.
